999 were appointed to lead the alignment of Christie's Worldwide Subscription process, boasting thousands of members from the Cayman Islands to the Congo.

We had to consider the entire communication journey from initial direct mail to follow-up literature, forms and envelopes to copywriting, while considering any translation issues. The highly detailed Subscriptions Catalogue required rationalising and redesigning in a more easy to follow format.

The initial direct mailer informed customers that their existing subscription process was being updated and improved. This piece featured images of complex, intricate and elaborate artworks and clever copy lines suggesting to the reader that however desirable these artworks might appear, their qualities are not what is required from a subscription service. The elaborate pieces were then juxtaposed with more contemporary and streamlined design classics to demonstrate the difference.

A follow up mailer with redesigned subscription forms and the 32 page Worldwide Subscription Catalogue announced the arrival of the new service. The catalogue, a striking reference piece, cross sells categories, encouraging clients to extend their field of interest into other areas.
